MealWise Subscription Refund Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2025
Thank you for subscribing to MealWise.
We strive to offer high-quality meal planning services. However, if you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may be eligible for a refund under the terms outlined below.
1. Refund Eligibility
EU Customers: You are entitled to request a refund within 14 days of the subscription start date, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive.
Non-EU Customers: You may request a refund within 7 days of the subscription start date.
To request a refund, please email us at refunds@mealwise.co with your order details and reason for cancellation.
2. Refund Conditions
Refunds are only available during the refund window (7 or 14 days, as applicable).
Refunds are not available once the 3-day free trial period has ended and your subscription has been billed.
Refunds may be subject to deductions for:
- Server and processing costs
- AI usage during the subscription period
- Payment processing fees (e.g., Paddle fees)
As a result, you may not receive a full refund of your payment.
3. Partial Refunds
If you cancel part-way through an eligible billing cycle (e.g., annual plan), we may issue a pro-rated refund for the unused portion, minus applicable deductions.
Refunds are issued at our discretion based on account activity.
4. Abuse Prevention
To protect against abuse:
- Refunds may be denied if we detect excessive usage, suspected scraping, or other attempts to extract value during the refund window.
- Screenshots and copying of meal plans are tracked and monitored where technically feasible.
5. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future billing.
To cancel, follow the link provided in your receipt email from Paddle (our payment processor).
Please note: Canceling your subscription does not automatically initiate a refund. You must contact us directly within the refund window to request a refund.
